she’s an exceptional poet who just stumbled upon an unbelievable true story.

Back from a fresh and pretty close dance with mortality in 2024, pre ordeal T was notorious UK wide for her spoken word performances, judging a national slam, performing festivals, running a residency in Manchester, about to release an EP and go on a mini UK tour.  

Sudden fibroid related kidney failure meant she spent the next 8 months and 9 major surgeries fighting for her life instead. 

The EP became an album (half written in Salford Royal) which is now the soundtrack to an autobiographical spoken word body horror mockumentary murder mystery musical with Searle.

Ultimately it's a visceral reaction to the female health crisis, and aims to shine light on not only fibroids, but the wider picture of system failures in relation to womens pain.

Political, personal, surreal and controlled, she is an artist that has learned to alchemise power from the pain by leaning into the contradictory. The bone shaking poems you know her for have got flesh to them now.
